The Portrait Society of America is very pleased to announce a Call for Entries for our 5th annual The Future Generation Competition. This art competition was created in order to acknowledge the work of talented, emerging artists, who are 18 to 25 years old.
The top 4 awards will receive cash and prizes, worldwide recognition in International Artist magazine, The Art of the Portrait quarterly journal and on the Portrait Society’s website and social media platforms.
The entry fee is $25. You can enter up to 3 entries today at www.portraitsociety.org.
Guidelines:
Subject of the work should focus on the human figure (portrait or figurative).
Artists must be 18-25 years old.
Artwork must be the artist’s own original design and concept.
In addition, no photography, electronic/computer generated art, art done in a class, workshop or under supervision of a teacher is eligible.
All other media is accepted and encouraged, both two-dimensional and three-dimensional.
