The Lodi Arts Commission is seeking submissions for a sculpture that represents the agriculture in the area. It is to placed on the median along State Route 12 (Kettleman Lane) near canal at Ham Lane. Space measures 18′ x 110′. There should be a least 1′ free around the sculpture.
The sculpture must be of durable materials that can withstand the weather and be low maintenance. The design should have a high aesthetic of artistic design. All materials, permits, etc. are included in the fee. Maximum Fee for the artist is $5,000.00. The artist is responsible for proper installation of the sculpture. Design will also have to be approved by Cal Trans. Submission should be submitted on a 8.5 x 11 paper accompanied with an artist resume which features other similar works.
