Apply to exhibit your artwork for a monthly show at Arts Visalia Visual Art Center located in historic downtown Visalia, California. Arts Visalia has two gallery spaces available for exhibitions: a large main gallery (31’ 5” x 36’ 8”) and a feature gallery (17’ 9” x 17’). Artists may choose to exhibit in one or both galleries free of charge. Arts Visalia will promote exhibiting artists through printed and digital media that may include postcard mailers, social media coverage, posters, and more. Exhibiting artists will have the opportunity to give an artist talk that will be open to the public during their exhibition. Arts Visalia Visual Art Center accepts proposals for all visual media except for performance and video.
Exhibition Proposals must include:
• Cover Letter addressing intent for exhibiting artwork at Arts Visalia, interest in conducting an artist talk at the gallery, preference of exhibition month/year, and gallery preference (main, feature, or both).
• CV/Resume outlining your artistic background.
• 10 – 20 Images representative of the proposed exhibition.
• Artist Statement describing your artistic choices. Half page minimum.
• Artist Biography describing your background as an artist. Half page minimum.
