animalia: fauna, beasts, birds, zoological, mammals, wildlife, amphibians, creatures, reptiles, fish, insects, critters ….
Photographers of all levels are invited to submit work reflecting the theme “animalia” to A Smith Gallery by November 2, 2026. Entries of 13 or more images are eligible for a complementary review by the gallery directors. The entry fee is $40 for the first 5 images and $5 for each additional image. Up to forty seven images will be selected for exhibition and shown in the online gallery from November 27, 2026 to January 7, 2027. An exhibition catalogue with all the accepted images will be available for purchase. Also, 27 images from the total 47 images will be selected for “The 27”, a limited edition hardbound fine art book of the exhibition. Both the Juror and Director Award’s will each receive a copy of the limited edition hardbound fine art book as well as an online solo exhibition and GalleryTalk. The Visitors’ Award is $100 and is selected by most Instagram likes. All exhibition images receive exposure on both Instagram and Facebook over the duration of the exhibition.
Juror for “animalia” will be Traer Scott, photographer and author.
