Madison Art Society 40th Annual Jury Show

The Madison Art Society will being hosting their 40th Annual Jury Show which is open to all Ct artists who are 18 years or older. Work must be original not created under tutelage or previously shown at the Scranton Memorial Library. All work must be for sale and have been completed recently. Artwork should be suitable to be viewed by children who use the library Community Room. Oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, drawings, sculpture, collage, mixed media and handmade prints accepted. Prints using digital or photographic process are not accepted nor are photographs. Maximum size including frame 36 inches. Sculpture must accompanied by a sturdy free standing child safe pedestal. Gallery wrapped canvases must be professionally painted on all four sides with no staples showing. Each artist can submit one piece of art. Receiving is 9;30 -noon on May 2. Submission fee is $15 for members and $20 non-members. The Scranton Library and the Madison Art Society will not be responsible for any lost or damaged art works. Cash awards and prizes.
