Smithtown Township Arts Council invites submissions for its upcoming juried fine art exhibition: “Animals in Art – Our Partners on the Planet” at the Mills Pond Gallery. Juror/Judge Tim Newton. Artists are encouraged to share their artistic vision of animals, both domestic and wild. Artwork may include any animals that live on land, in the sea or in the air and can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction. Open to USA artists age 18 or older. All media considered except photography and computer generated art.
Entry fee $45 for up to 3 images.
Entry Deadline: June 3, 2016
Awards: $1,000 Best of Show, $500 Second Place, $250 Third Place.
