Established in 2004, INSTINC is an artist-run institution that promotes a new language of art to realize a wide array of art forms, including but not limited to installation, performance and video art. In 2009, INSTINC launched its own Artist-in-Residency Programme, providing a unique framework for young artists with limited experience to bypass large-scale institutional residences and take on a space where they are able to engage in various experiments, foster dialogue, involve critical discussion, cultivate professional and personal connections and examine the potentials of contemporary artistic production. Thus, we look forward to welcoming contemporary artists of all nationalities and disciplines to vibrant Clarke Quay, Singapore!
