Established in 1964, the East Lansing Art Festival is an evolving outdoor celebration of fine art and fine craft which has grown to include two music stages, children’s hands-on art activities, an artist demonstration area, a poetry reading, and a Friday evening kick-off concert. The festival opens on Saturday morning and runs through Sunday afternoon. This highly anticipated mid-Michigan festival attracts over 70,000 knowledgeable art patrons from around the region, and is ranked 9th in Sunshine Artist Magazine’s annual best 100 shows listing.
