Deck the Walls

Calling all artists: Starting Monday, September 21, the Lyme Art Association (LAA) is accepting art entries for Deck the Walls, which will be on view from November 13, 2026 – January 1, 2027 in LAA’s galleries. Paintings, Drawings, Hand-pulled prints, and Sculpture of all media are welcome.
Artists do not need to be Connecticut residents to enter the show, and all Lyme Art Association Member Artists are welcome to enter their artwork.
About the show theme: With colder nights and shorter days, this exhibition seeks artwork that will uplift the spirit and warm people’s hearts. This annual show will feature artwork with gift giving in mind. All subject matters and mediums are encouraged, providing the artwork is representational.
LAA is accepting art submissions starting Monday, September 21.
Deadline to apply is Friday, October 9 by Midnight.

About the Lyme Art Association: Founded in 1914 by the American Impressionists, the Lyme Art Association continues the tradition of exhibiting and selling representational artwork, as well as offering art instruction, lectures, and other community programs. It is located in Old Lyme, CT, in an iconic 1921 building designed by renowned architect Charles Adams Platt and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Admission is free.
