This is an request for proposals calling for those interested in participating in a public outdoor art display in Vernon Street Town Square, Roseville CA. This project will consist of painting pianos + benches for community to enjoy visually and play instrumentally.
CALL DETAILS:
-This project requires both piano and bench to be painted, Two of each available.
-Pianos will be tuned for playing, secured, and undercover to protect from weather
-City of Roseville will supply the primer, acrylic paints, and finishing varnish
-City of Roseville will jury the submitted proposals
-Group/collaborative proposal for one or both pianos will be considered
-Proposals submitted after deadline will not be accepted
-Artwork has to be family + community friendly
SUBMIT:
-There is no entry fee.
-Send proposal in PDF format
-Proposal must include:
-Name of all artists
-Contact information
-Address
-Examples of previous artwork + social media + website
-Approx. 200 word concept for proposed piano artwork
-Sketches of proposed artwork for piano
-Availability/ timeframe to work on piano
