Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center is accepting proposals for a new outdoor sculpture program that will feature the work of Maryland or regional artists at our ENTRANCE PLATFORM – the most prominent sculpture location on the 30 acre property. The program is designed as a two to five year loan program, with loan period depending on the nature of the work and cost of installation and de-installation.
This program is intended for large-scale, three-dimensional works that are able to command the space and make a bold “welcome” statement to our guests. Artists must provide detailed information about each work, including artist statement, photos, design and fabrication information, materials description, dimensions, weight, etc of the proposed work. Works must be safe for public display and constructed to withstand the extremes of the environment.
