Are you a Northern California artist with mural experience? We invite you to submit mural proposals for 4 walls on the Butte College Campus. Applicants may submit proposals for multiple sites. Commission amounts range from $5,000. to $18,000.
Butte College is seeking colorful and innovative murals to create a vibrant and multicultural setting for students, faculty and staff at our main campus location in Oroville, California. This is an ongoing effort to create an inviting and inspiring environment for students of all disciplines, ages and backgrounds.
The theme of the design is up to the artist (or artist team) but should reflect on the mission and values of Butte College, our commitment to equity, inclusivity, anti-racism and sustainability as well as the use of the building and surrounding environment.
