Applications for the Winter-Spring 2024 Artist-in-Residence Program are now open. 5-month residency (January 8 – May 31) at The Umbrella Arts Center in Concord, MA offering free studio space and teaching opportunities.
The Umbrella Arts Center in Concord, MA is proud to continue its Artist-in-Residence program for the Winter and Spring of 2024. We are seeking visual artists with teaching experience, who may be working on a specific project and make regular use of a 220 square foot studio space in a vibrant multi-disciplinary arts center that houses an active community of artists in 50 artist studios, an independent ceramics classroom, makerspace, performance and gallery spaces in historic Concord, Massachusetts.
In addition to the free studio, the Artist-in-Residence will have teaching, exhibition, and artist talk opportunities. Housing is not included.
Applicants must be 21 or older, and may work in any medium including painting, sculpture, installation, photography, clay, textiles, digital media, film, mixed media, or public art.
