In honor of Roxboro Development Group’s summer monthly uptown car shows, Rox N’ Roll, the Kirby Cultural Arts Complex would like to host an automobile inspired art show in the Kirby’s Upper Gallery located at 213 North Main St. Roxboro, NC 27573
Rules for Submissions
– All entries must be approved by the Director.
– You must include your full name, mailing address, email address and phone number
– Images of the work you intend to show
– Descriptions of each work to include size, medium, date of completion and retail price
– No expletive artworks are allowed. Works must be appropriate for a young audience as children frequently visit the gallery
– No entry fee
Size Limitations
– Accepted media include drawings, paintings, mixed media, photographs and sculpture.
– 2D works must be no larger than 40” x 40”.
– 3D works must be able to be moved safely by one person.
Methods of Submission
– Examples should be representative of the type of work you intend to show.
– Mailed submissions should be in a book, catalog, CD/DVD or brochure format and may include sample prints (do not send originals).
– Online submissions can be provided through web links or email attachments in jpg or pdf format. Please limit jpg attachments to no more than 6-10 image files. File dimensions must not exceed 1200 pixels W x 1200 pixels H.

– Emailed submissions may be sent to kirby.theater@personcounty.net with subject line reading Kirby Gallery: Automotive Art.
Sales
The commission is 15% if a Person County resident
and 25% if a non-county resident.

Deadlines and Dates to Remember
– Submission for Approval (Digital and Hand Delivered): June 15, 2016
– Notification of Acceptance: June 22, 2016
– Pick Up Work: Within 3 months of date of delivery if artwork not sold within this timeframe.
– Reception: July 1, 2016 | 6- 8 pm
– The show will take place from July 1, 2016- July 31, 2016.
