As part of its Public Art Master Plan adopted in 2018, the City of Lincoln City intends to commission an engaging and remarkable public art installation at the Lincoln City Cultural Center. This is a Request for Qualifications and a call for artists and artist teams who would like to be considered for this commission: a signature art piece that will be location on Hwy 101 in full view of 8.8 million vehicles that travel down the highway each year. In accordance with the Master Plan guidelines, the installation should “communicate an exuberant welcome to Lincoln City using color and forms to express the pleasure of connecting to a place of spectacular natural beauty.”
