The second annual 8×8 Exhibit at Maple and Main Gallery, One Maple Street, Chester, CT May 2 through 31, 2018; opening party, Friday, May 4 from 5 to 8 pm.
A show of unframed paintings on cradled board, 8×8 by 1.5 inches deep. All work must be done on these surfaces at that depth, and all paintings will be offered at $200 each. They need to be wired on the back; sides can be left natural or painted.
The cost is $10 each, payable by check or cash upon delivery. The commission is 30 percent.There is no jurying, but gallery retains the right to reject any not done to standard.
The intake is Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29 from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. or by special arrangement with Rachel Carlson, gallery director. Open to Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island and Massachusetts artists.
