6th Annual The Future Generation Competition

The Portrait Society of America is pleased to announce a Call for Entries for our upcoming art competition, The Future Generation. This competition was created as an opportunity to acknowledge and showcase emerging artists 18-25 years old such as John Singer Sargent, who at age twenty-three won an Honorable Mention at the Paris Salon with a portrait he painted of his teacher, Carolus-Duran.
The top four awards will receive cash and prizes, worldwide recognition in International Artist magazine, The Art of the Portrait quarterly journal and on the Portrait Society’s website and social media platforms. In addition, the First Place winner will receive an Edward Jonas Memorial Medal.
