Art JuXtapose presents the thematic exhibition: Juxtaposition. The exhibition will be held virtually from October 1st to October 31st 2020 and advertised extensively. The platform will be interactive with a live virtual viewing making it so anyone can participate from anywhere!.

This exhibition is open to all interpretations of the concept, Juxtaposition. All media and interpretations of the theme “Juxtaposition” will be reviewed and considered.

Juxtaposition in art usually is created with the intention of bringing out a specific quality or creating an effect, particularly when two contrasting or opposing elements are used. Juxtaposition is the placing of elements side by side, leaving it up to the reader to establish connections and impose meaning. Send in two pieces of artwork, in any medium, that highlight juxtaposition. Two artists can submit pieces together or an individual artist can submit up to four pieces depicting art juxtaposition. Only two pieces from each artist or each group of artists will be selected.

The deadline for submission is September 29th. There is a $20 fee, but you pay ONLY if your piece(s) are accepted. The fee for a solo artist is $20 for four pieces, an additional pair of pieces is $5. The fee for two artists submitting together is $30 for two pieces total, an additional pair of pieces $10.
