Husby Konsthall Miniature Print Exhibition
Entry Deadline: Dec. 31
Husby Art center in Husby Sweden is a multipurpose art center with a large exhibition space, a teaching program for children and teens, and open access studio space for adults. We are a non-profit gallery and studio funded by government grants. Our mandate is to provide our community with the opportunity to view both national and international artists in our exhibition program. With this in mind, we would like to invite print makers to participate in a mini print exhibition opening January 12, 2019 and showing until February 3, 2019. This exhibition will feature small scale works in all printmaking mediums.
We unfortunately do not have the resources to manage sales, but artist information will be prominently displayed with every print shown allowing buyers to contact the artist directly for purchase. And, due to prohibitive postage costs, we have a no return policy. The exhibition’s chosen prints and any prints not sold, as well as non-accepted prints, will become a valuable contribution to our permanent collection at Husby gallery, used as an education tool for our printmaking students.
International, all artists over 18 working with fine art printmaking. Each artist should submit a single print, or, more, if the prints comprise a series. All traditional printmaking techniques are acceptable. (No drawings, photographs, or direct reproductions are eligible.) Any questions about techniques can be directed to the exhibitions committee at [email protected]
Prints must arrive at Husby Konsthall by December 31, 2018. All payments must be received by December 31, 2018. Prints arriving or payments made after this date will not be considered for jury review. Send prints to:
