Art Show Title: Le Fleur (The Bloom)

The beauty of plant life comes at us from all corners of planet earth, and it’s the artist in us that captures the beauty through a camera lens or a paint brush. Harsh landscapes to lush botanicals have the elements we hope to capture for this juried art show. In this call for entries, show us how you capture and emulate this wonderful topic.
Calls are open to all local, domestic, and international professional and amateur artists. Only two dimensional art (photography, fabric, mixed media, and all paintings and drawings including oil, acrylic, pastels, ink, graphite etc. Sizes up to 16×20 are acceptable. Work must be able to hang on our gallery wall.

This is a call for an upcoming show, without a date (lease negotiations are in progress). We however want to gather submissions and be ready before the ink has a chance to dry!

Cost is $35 per entry.

All submissions must represent the actual artwork as closely as possible. If your artwork is misrepresented in any way, meaning the picture diverges greatly from what the work actually looks like in color, shape, or dimensions; we will reserve the right to refuse to hang the artwork if it should be chosen for the show.

We are a new gallery, located in Tacoma Washington. The owners are artists themselves, with advanced degrees in fine art, publishing, and marketing. The gallery itself is located in a very vibrant and busy part of downtown in the 700 block of Pacific Avenue. The gallery will be over 2000 feet of space.

This is a call for a 30 day live show in our gallery, and temporary residence for the duration of the show.
Prize: Top 3 best in show entries will receive 12 months gallery representation, and full residence.

All juried and accepted art will be included in “ Mecene: Le Fleur” the book, an 8×8 coffee table book.
