In celebration of its ten-year anniversary, the Connecticut River Valley Artists welcomes you to its Eighth Art Show & Sale with an opening reception on Sunday, June 5th from 1 – 4 PM, at Piedmont Hall, 604 Main Street, Somers, CT.

Featuring several new works by ten award-winning artists of CRVA: Neil Connell, Douglas Gillette, Barbara Groff, William Hoey, Art Scholz, Charles Vendetti, Sandra Wakeen, Alexandra Walters, Steve Wilda, Lynn Wrona.

Guest artist featured…
For the first time since its inception in 2006, the CRVA has invited a guest artist to participate in this year’s show. Artist Paul Leveille paints portraits of distinguished individuals, both nationally and internationally. In addition to his portrait commissions, Paul teaches workshops around the country and in his studio in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Two FREE demo evenings…
On June 9th from 6 – 8 PM, this year’s “Artist at Work” will feature CRVA member Art Scholz, who will share his watercolor technique while painting a vibrant, New England landscape. And on June 16th, 6 – 8 PM, watch guest artist Paul Leveille as he paints a lively portrait using the pastel medium. Each artist will engage you as they demonstrate their particular style, techniques and methods.
