THEME – This exhibit will focus on works of art where light is a central theme to the work. Light can be a noun, verb, adjective, or idiom Please submit to us your best work that interprets light in any way you wish.

ABOUT MERIDIAN STREET GALLERY, LLC- Our gallery features an eclectic mix of fine art including printmaking, paintings, mixed media, fabric art, photography, installations, etc. Art is displayed on the beautiful marble walls in the large retail lobby of the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce Building and on the 8th floor gallery, Suite 822. Our gallery is located directly downtown, across the street from University Park that contains the Indiana War Memorial Plaza and we are only a few blocks from Monument Circle that contains the Soldiers and Sailors Monument. We are located near many restaurants, galleries, retail shopping, and we are in the heart of many downtown professional businesses. We are open retail hours and a throw a special artist’s opening as part of The IDADA First Friday Art Tour from 5p.m. to 9p.m.

ELIGIBILITY- Entry is open to all visual artists, age 18 or older, residing in the United States.

SUBMISSION- A $25.00 fee is charged for submitting five original works of paintings, mixed media, fabric art(wall hung), photography, drawings, pastels, relief works(wall hung), encaustics, or printmaking, in any style. Size limits are 4’x4’x6” and works must be less than 20 lbs. each.
