This June, Spring Bull Gallery has invited eleven artists to be part of an exhibition entitled Get Real. It will open with a reception on Saturday June 6, 2015 from 5-7 pm. to which the public is invited. These artists: Del-Bourree Bach, Kyle Bartlett, Deonta Beauchine, Joan Boghossian, Barnet Fain, Carol FitzSimonds, William Hyett, Robert Lavoie, John MacGowan, Johanna McKenzie, and Michele Porior-Mazzone, approach their creativity by capturing the ordinary in an extraordinary manor. Their product is a blend of texture, color, reflections, all appear in detail so fine that many of the individual brush stokes are invisible. In addition, the art conveys a sense of three-dimensional light-filled space and finds beauty and interest in everyday people, places and things.
Get Real runs from June 6 – 30, 2015. The gallery will be open until 8 pm. on Thursday,
June 11th for Gallery Night in Newport. Spring Bull Gallery, located at 55 Bellevue Avenue in Newport,
Rhode Island, is wheel chair accessible and free to the public. Gallery hours are noon to 5 pm. daily.
