Every summer since 2010, CURRENTS presents one of the leading art and technology festivals in the United States. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, CURRENTS brings together the work of established and emerging new media artists from the USA and around the world.
This year’s submission categories include:
Installations (interactive and non-interactive)
Audio Experiences
Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality Environments
Robotics/Kinetic/Electro-Mechanical Objects and Installations
Multimedia Performance
Fabrication, 2D/3D Printing and Wearables
Experimental Single Channel Video, Documentary and Animation
Submission Fee: – $30/single, $25 each/multiple
Selected Artists may be eligible for travel, lodging and shipping support.
Due to the already high and escalating cost and risks of international shipping we may not be able to support this expense for international artists. We may be able to supply needed equipment.
Our Mission:
CURRENTS New Media is an annual art + technology festival based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. It supports 21st Century art making and innovative creatives.
The Festival is a collaboration between the non-profit, Parallel Studios, its partners throughout the city, and the interns and volunteers who invest their time to support this project.
