Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 2024 Light & Shadow International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in two categories: Traditional Art and Digital Art & Photography.

For its 29th quarterly art exhibition, the gallery invited both 2D and 3D artists to submit their best work depicting light and shadow. Whether color or black and white, the artwork should have focused on the dramatic placement and effects of light and shadow over the canvas or through the lens. All artists, over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their best representational and/or abstract work in any media.

The 2024 Light & Shadow Best in Show winners are Xu Xiangyang for his oil on linen, “A MOMENT” and Giles Taylor for his digital photograph, “THE STYLE IS THE MAN HIMSELF”, As the Best in Show winners, both artists will receive a cash prize. Alternatively, in lieu of the cash prize, the Best in Show winners may choose a complimentary one-year membership to our Fusion Artist’s Members Gallery.

Other award winners include Second Place winners, Jianzhong Zhou and Kalib Bryan. Third Place awards were given to Cher Pruys and Ran Zhang. Fourth Place awards were given to Yuqian Sun and Ambrotype Visuals. Fifth Place awards were given to Melanie Whaley and Kylo-Patrick Hart.

In addition, six artistic excellence awards and six honorable mention awards were given due to the exceptional quality of the art received for this exhibition. The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international exhibition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, China, Germany, Taiwan and Mexico. The exhibition will be featured on the website for 3 months starting November 15, 2024. After that it will remain in the Exhibition Archives.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions.
