A solo exhibition of Kathleen Zimmerman’s silkscreen and intaglio prints and cast scullpture. Kathleen Zimmerman’s love affair with form, along with her natural tendency to use symbolism and surrealism in her work, has come together to create her distinctive visual language. Zimmerman uses this language to communicate ideas concerning relationships, the environment and culture. Elements of the natural world, especially animals, are the subject matter she uses to express these ideas. Drawing, printmaking, sculpture, the written and spoken word are her medias of choice.
