“My studio is wonderful. It is a solarium structure of the main living area of our house. A supply of coffee and wonderful sunlight seems to make this like no other place for painting. From the studio I look out into a vast meadow towards the Bow River and what is part of Fish Creek Provincial Park” “My painting process is meditative. I’m easily lost in it without relying on things like music. I love listening to music but painting really takes me everywhere. It seems my painting style with dots is a significant part of this.” “My work is seen, more and more, in international locations. A special moment was the Societe Nationale des Beaux-art jury accepting one of my Antarctica paintings for the Salon 2011 in Paris at the Carrousel du Louvre.” “I love the splendor in things.
