Jillian Nielsen

Jillian has a background in art and has taken classes at the Art Center Killingworth, the Guilford Art Center, Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, New England Fashion and Design Association, and Bard College at Simon’s Rock. She enjoys fashion and costume design and has won awards for her costuming for the Baroque Equestrian Games, the CT opera Company and a production shown at the Sibiu International Theater Festival. As well as designing and sewing costumes she sews bespoke horseware and equestrian clothing. When she’s not sewing, she can be found riding her horse LG at dressage competitions. Jillian’s work is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
