I love and admire all creation and its many complexities and forms. I love to reproduce what my eyes observe in nature, and with the human form. I am fascinated by all of the things around me, especially animals and people. My goal continues to be capturing as closely as I can the likeness and personality of the subjects, and to convey those elements in my paintings. I was born in Chicago in 1961. I began painting at the age of 2 yrs, and I continued to study art most of my life, first by attending The Art Instruction School in Minneapolis MN, Chicago Vocational HS., where I studied commercial art, and finally The School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 1979 to 1982. I pursued my passion for art by doing freelance illustrations and fine art paintings. I have works in private collections from Chicago to California, in Wylers Children's Hospital in Chicago, and murals in Southern California. I use most mediums; Oils, Acrylics, Watercolor, and Graphite. My style is photo-realism.
