Alan Paine Radebaugh, fascinated with geological history, has been painting the North American plains since 2008. Driving, walking, and drawings for weeks on the road, he returns to Albuquerque to paint; intertwining sketches, memory and imagination. Radebaugh does not paint a particular site, but rather, melds images from one place with those of another to create his impression of the North American plains.
