Photographers of Hope: Newburgh Revival
Group Exhibition

Nine international photographers who are part of a group called Photographers for Hope spent a week this past September chronicling the events, people and architecture of the City of Newburgh. “In Newburgh, we hope to capture some of the spirit and energy of the re-emergence of the city as a place on the rise,” said David Burnett, the lead artist for the project. Photographers for Hope was formed five years ago by a group of documentary photographers who felt that working jointly would expand and focus the visual potential of their work. The collaborative has previously completed projects in Brazil, Bangladesh, Scotland and Indonesia.
