The National Association of Women Artists their juried exhibition, LAYERING: Collage/Mixed Media opened today at the NAWA Online Gallery. Works on display were selected from submissions received from throughout the US!
Mixed Media is work that incorporates multiple visual materials. From gesso to glaze, from substrate to paper, from color to color, or wax over wax, what’s on the surface isn’t always what’s underneath! These works of art include two- or three-dimensional works including but are not limited to papers, paints, wax, wood, fabrics, fibers, glazes, metals.
