“It is a form of deconstruction … breaking through edges and form to distort reality. The paint can be dripped, splashed, splattered, glazed, brushed or pulled on the paper surface. The paper is often manipulated to direct the flow of the paint. Since the results are not always in the artist’s control, the artist must abandon control and be open to take creative detours as the painting reveals itself.
