Urban Typography – OPEN FOR REGISTRATION Ages 13 + Instructor: Steve Jase Sunday, 2-5pm August 14, 2011 Everyone uses the alphabet everyday in some way or another, and sometimes those letters and words are a little boring. This class will take those characters we’ve known since birth, and breathe into them a new life. You will gain the knowledge to incorporate your own personality and style into your interpretation of the modern day Roman alphabet. Utilizing drawing skills, we will concentrate on deconstructing letters, and exploring the unlimited possibilities to create your own work of art. Materials: drawing pad, drawing utensils of choice.
