Concert Series: Aspects of Musical Form Sunday, August 28 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Violinist Emily Faxon, violist Noriko Herndon, cellist Susan Seligman, and pianist Ruthanne Schempf demonstrate the development of structure in music from the A-B-A song-form through the forms of sonata-allegro and theme and variations. The music will include selections by Mozart and Beethoven. Lawn seating available. Events are free with Storm King paid admission. All ages are welcome to attend all events. This year, Storm King presents two special anniversary-exhibitions, 5+5: New Perspectives, and The View from Here: Storm King at Fifty. Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 am to 5:30 pm (open until 8:00 pm on Saturdays through September 3; until 5:00 pm daily, November 2–13). Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, except for the Monday holidays marking Labor Day and Columbus Day. Admission is $12; $10 for senior citizens (65 and older); $8 for college students with a valid ID and students in grades K–12. Children under five and members receive free admission, and discounts are available for groups of fifteen or more with advance registration.
