On October 15, 2011 we are holding a special cabaret performance inspired by John John 2’s comic book “TV Trouble” (TV for TransVestite) with performance artist LuLu Temptrice accompanied by Dana Brown on piano. Please join us in welcoming them Saturday at 8:00 pm at Jennifer Norback Fine Art, Inc. Reservations are required as space is very limited and be sure to bring a bottle of your favorite cabernet! Our current exhibition features comic books and sculptural constructions by John John 2. His works address issues of gender and identity with humor and honesty. On display are paintings from 3 of the 4 comic books that are in Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art’s Artist Books Collection; “URA a Fat Queen”, “TV Trouble” and “Idol Moments”.
