It is located about one hour north of New York City, in the Hudson Valley, where its pristine 500-acre landscape provides the setting for a collection of more than 100 carefully sited sculptures, created by some of the most acclaimed artists of our time. With its verdant fields, rolling hills, and woodlands, Storm King offers a unique and memorable experience with every visit. This year, Storm King presents two special anniversary-exhibitions, 5+5: New Perspectives, and The View from Here: Storm King at Fifty. Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 am to 5:30 pm (open until 8:00 pm on Saturdays through September 3; until 5:00 pm daily, November 2–13). Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, except for the Monday holidays marking Labor Day and Columbus Day. Admission is $12; $10 for senior citizens (65 and older); $8 for college students with a valid ID and students in grades K–12. Children under five and members receive free admission, and discounts are available for groups of fifteen or more with advance registration. Storm King’s Café is open and picnicking is permitted in designated areas. Public transportation is provided by Coach USA from Port Authority Bus Terminal.
