Artist’s reception: Motown Senufu, Detroit artist inspired by African sculpture. 10 sculptures by Robert Spinazzola inspired by African Senufu, ( Ivory Coast ) and Bambara, ( Mali ) coming of age ceremonial artwork. Robert Spinazzola uses recycled automobile parts to create works that invoke a tribal beauty with Motown grit.
Opening artist reception: Monday, May 2, 6-9 PM and Saturday, May 7, 4-8 PM. Refreshments served.
