CADEAUX du MONDE will open its summer exhibit, Mexican Folk Art, on Thursday, July 14th with ongoing informal gallery talks about the collection. The exhibit will run daily at the gallery through August 9, 2011. Assembled in the 1990’s, this collection spans the gamut of high quality Mexican folk art–Joel Garcia’s Alebrijes, Huichol beaded calabash bowls and masks, Josefina Aguilar and Alfonso Castillio sculptures, the late Carlos Inigo’s metal art, masks and Day of the Dead sculpture.
