Join us for a conversation between exhibiting artist Grace Sachi Troxell and Curator of Visual Arts Rachel Raphaela Gugelberger. They will discuss Troxell’s casts of plants and vegetal life at Wave Hill that are incorporated into her new series of portraits. The new series links ancestral traditions to the relationships between the treatment of the natural world and the human body.

“Meet the Artist” is an ongoing series of conversations between exhibiting artists and curatorial team members at Wave Hill. The program provides an opportunity for Wave Hill visitors, the artist’s community and others to learn more about an artist’s creative process and the themes that shape their work.
