Course begins by studying relatively simple still life objects, moving on to plaster casts for the first few days. Emphasis will be placed on accuracy of proportion and line quality no matter how simple the object being drawn. After the proportions are accurate, we will move into the study of values and how to us the light source to create a sense of form, in the final class we will study a live model and apply the methods we have learned from stydying still life objects and plaster casts.
