Students learn to express their creativity using varied art methods and materials to create personal works of art. New themes will be explored each month with different projects weekly. Art Explorers is led by artist Suzy Jorsey Balay who received her BFA from Paier College of Art. Suzy is a fiber artist who hand spins wool, knits and sews. She has been a dedicated teacher of Art Explorers for a number of years and continues to create inspiring lessons for visiting children. Drop-in students are welcome. Members $5 per class; non-members $7 per class
Scholarships are available for New Britain students. No charge for chaperones, who must remain in the building.
