$33,000 Grant Completed
Marlborough Arts Center

In the spring of 2012, the Marlborough Arts Center was awarded a $33,000 grant from the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving for expansion of its overflow parking lot, improvements in lighting for safety purposes, and the acquisition of a storage shed. The grant included funds from the Elliot Family Fund and the Skip Steiner Fund at the Hartford Foundation. The Marlborough Arts Center is pleased to announce that all of the work for these improvements under the grant has now been completed.
The Marlborough Arts Center, 231 North Main Street, Marlborough, Connecticut is a non-profit regional organization that offers a broad range of artistic, cultural and historical programs for the public. Its mission is to foster creativity, appreciation and enjoyment of fine arts, performing arts, fine crafts and regional history through educational programs, exhibitions and performances. It is housed in a restored historic community building with a spacious Art Gallery and a well-equipped instructional studio.
