ABOUT THE CALL FOR ENTRIES
Small Works: Object Poetry is an open call for artists to submit work that explores the poetic potential of objects—how things, images, and materials can carry memory, symbolism, or emotions. Whether through representation, abstraction, or physical assemblage, submissions should reflect a sensitivity to how form, context, and content interact to tell a story or evoke meaning. Artists like Felix Gonzales-Torres, Ann Hamilton, Ai Weiwei, and Sonya Clark have shown how objects and imagery can transcend function and become powerful carriers of metaphor—this call invites work created in that spirit.
