Valdosta National 2012 is open to all Artists living in the USA over the age of 18. Works may be in any medium, traditional or experimental. All works must be original, suitably presented, ready to exhibit, completed in the last two years, and not previously exhibited in the Valdosta State University Fine Arts Gallery. Each artist may submit up to three entries. VSU takes no sales commission. Catalog sent to all submitting artists. Artwork is insured while in gallery. Juror/judge bio: Charles (Chazz) Williams is an Associate Professor in the Fine Arts Department at Albany State University where he has taught Painting and Drawing for six years. In addition to producing and exhibiting his own work, he is an active supporter of the arts in his community and region and currently is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Albany Museum of Art. Mr. Williams earned an MFA in Studio Art and an MA in Literature from Florida State University. VSU Fine Arts Gallery is also accepting proposals for solo and group exhibitions for 2012-13 Season.
