The Resurrection Show is an open invitational exhibition, event and party celebrating the Garner Arts Center [formerly GAGA] after the devastation of Hurricane Irene in August 2011. Artists of the Hudson Valley (and beyond) are being invited to place one artwork each in a unique salon style exhibition to be held in the Dye Works Gallery. All media accepted.

Saturday 3 – 11 PM Sunday 1-5 PM

Reception and Celebration Party: Saturday, October 13th 6-11 PM
The Saturday reception will be a grand celebration with live music, food and wine. This free celebration will be the kick-off party for the exciting journey that will culminate with the re-building and re-opening of the new GARNER Art Center in Building 35, the former mill cafeteria at the beautiful and historic factory complex in Garnerville, New York.

Open to artists over 18 working in any & all media.

Delivery and Pick Up of Work
All artwork must be delivered on Friday, Oct 5th from 2-5, or Saturday, Oct 6th from 2-5.
Pick up of artwork will be Friday, Oct 19th from 2-5 or Saturday, Oct 20th from 2-5.

All work must be delivered ready for installation with all hardware and directions included.
Work must be labeled with the artist’s name, title, media and dimensions, as well as the price or “Not for Sale” (NFS). Please attach installation directions.

Take into consideration that we are still recovering from the hurricane. We have no working elevator. Artists must provide their own pedestal if their artwork needs one.

Sales
50% of all sales will go to the artist and 50% to the Garner Arts Center. Proceeds will go directly to Garner Arts Center capital project fund to rebuild the new gallery in Building 35.
