The Portside Arts Center is proud to be hosting Philadelphia’s first ever, annual inflatable sculpture contest. It will take place from 2pm -4pm along side the Lehigh Avenue Arts Festival on Saturday, April 26th, 2014 at the corner of Lehigh and Belgrade.

The deadline to submit a proposal is:
March 15th for $25
Early Bird submission March 1st for $20.
You will be notified by March 21st of your acceptance.

A proposal will consist simply of:
1. A drawing of proposed sculpture
2. A brief description of sculpture, materials that will
be used and method of construction.
Sculptures must be no larger than 15ft x 15ft and no smaller than 3” x4”, there is no restriction on height but we ask you be mindful of you surroundings i.e. power lines, etc.

All participants must be 18 or older, and we ask that all content be age appropriate.

Prizes will be determined by guest judges and given out for the categories of:
Best in Show, Peoples Choice
Best Use of Materials, Best Craftsmanship & Best in Motion
There will be a cash prize and a one-month membership to
The Philadelphia Sculpture Gym.

All prize winners will get an inflatable trophy and be featured on our website for all posterity!
