The Hive: Spring Show
The Hive Gallery
Entry Deadline: Mar. 31
Call for Entries
The Hive Gallery’s Spring Show is now open for entries!
UPDATE as of 3/7: We seek 2-dimensional figurative works with a focus on illustrative technique and storytelling. Our theme is: Sacred in the Ordinary: Food, Animals, and Everyday Objects.
All practicing artists (including students) living in Massachusetts are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to new/emerging artists (5-10 years our of school/into career).
We regret that we cannot accept sculpture at this time.
Email 3-5 JPEGs to [email protected] along with a little bit about yourself: tell us where you’re from, what kind of art you make and how long you’ve been making it. Please also include rough dimensions, and media used. Please keep attachments under 2MB! All submissions will be reviewed by a real live human – we promise.
The Hive Gallery is a new alternative space gallery housed in the basement of St. Chrysostom’s Episcopal Church in Quincy. We are located just a few miles south of the Fort Point and Harrison Street galleries. Our aim is to develop a greater appreciation and understanding of the role of the arts in community, and to offer exposure for emerging artists from the Boston area.
