The Color of Music from the Royal Gallery (Posted 01/29/2011)- Royal Gallery in Providence RI, is calling on artists Nationwide that will like to submit work for a show later this year. Royal Gallery is known for representing artists with a background of classical realism technique with a contemporary subject matter. We would like artist to submit one piece of artwork that best represents (to their interpretation) the joy of music. Must be in a 2-D format. Whether it is a: representation of a concert, an instrument, dancing, etc. Must be your own original design, completed independently, and must NOT have been exhibited previously and must be available for purchase. Acceptable mediums include oil, acrylic, pastel, and all drawing media. Photography, computer generated artwork, or collage is not eligible. Dimensions need to be with a max of 1008 sq. inches (for example: 28″ x 36″) should have been created within the last 12 months prior to deadline. For submission we need good quality images of artwork to be submitted (between 180-300 dpi), a resume, contact, website (if applicable) and a small portfolio sampling of artwork. Artists must have completed their studies when submitting. This can be done through email or regular mail. There is NO submission fee, it is free. Deadline: May 15, 2011. Any Questions?
