CALL FOR ENTRIES – SPECTRUM 2013 ANNUAL JURIED EXHIBITION CARRIAGE BARN ARTS CENTER –

New Canaan, CT – Entries for the Annual Juried Art Exhibition, SPECTRUM 2013, in the Betty Barker Gallery, sponsored by the New Canaan Society for the Arts and local businesses, will be accepted online and also by CD’s received in the mail. The deadline for receiving either method of entry is Thursday, March 28th. SPECTRUM promotes original contemporary art, wrought by hand by area artists. This juried exhibition of original work only, no reproductions, includes all media except photography, completed within the past two years and not previously exhibited at the Carriage Barn. The juror, Dr. Jill Deupi, Founding Director and Chief Curator of the Bellarmine Museum of Art at Fairfield University, will select the work for the exhibition and also designate prizewinners in various media categories. Cash prizes donated by local businesses and patrons will be awarded.

A maximum of 5 works per artist will be accepted for a non-refundable fee: NCSA members: $20 for 2 and $30 for up to 5 entries. Non-members: $35 for 2 and $45 for up to 5 entries. (Note: Join now to participate in the fall Members Show.)
